Ever Scholar Urban Agriculture 101 at Queens University

Urban Agriculture 101 is a new on-line course offered by the Ever Scholar Program at Queens University. Through a project-based learning approach, students will learn how to design and build their own urban agriculture solutions.

Urban agriculture is a tool for promoting food justice, as it provides communities with access to fresh produce and promotes local food production. By growing they’re own food, people can take control of their own food security.

The class will be taught by Chris Canning, a landscape architect at https://www.canninggreenworks.com/ , who has personal experience in building urban agriculture projects in the U.S. and Canada.

Our first class is Tuesday April 4, 3-5 pm
