Freshwater Waterfront Dock
Freshwater waterfront docks are costly necessities to install and maintain in cottage-country.
In light of rising construction costs, the client asked me how to repurpose his existing concrete pier include a boat ramp and have seasonal access to the pier from the shore. While accommodating, winter ice expanding, cracking and shifting in response to changing winter temperatures. Picture micro-scale tectonic plates distributing tremendous pressure on shorelines or in the waterbody.
